Man, Karma is a bitch...

I'll have a bunch of extra tickets, as will Pete and Eugene I assume.  We are going to try and get as many of the club members in as we can.  I'd like to see a big veedub show in the parking lot of the stadium on June 1st.

My family and I will be there - the cadet we sponsor is graduating.  How do the tickets work?  Are the tickets you are talking about separate from the graduation tickets?

Our mostly in place plan (somewhat tenative): graduation on the 1st, leave for Cali the morning of the 2nd, stay in LV Thursday night and Friday night, Saturday head to the show, drive back Monday, go to work on Tuesday.  A little of topic, but still related a little...

Depends on how many tickets I end up getting.  As of right now, we each get 16 tickets, but I am unsure how many family and friends are actually going to make it out here.

We will discuss this more as the time grows closer and people start to actually confirm they are coming or not.

Well I dont see anything on their website about tickets.

Regardless.. If I cannot get tickets to June 1st I will just
go to the June 4th show at Peterson AFB.

The show is for graduation, when we toss our hats, the show starts.  Stage center is Stadium Blvd.

And you can't just buy tickets, we, as seniors, get 16 tickets each, making roughly 16,000 tickets given out.

I will be there (working) I will watch the May 31st practice from the field also.  The vice president is going to speak this year.  Origionally it was just going to be Seceretary of the Air Force.  That fucking sucks when secret service and media come it gets fucking ugly for us.

The practice day on the day before is usually awesome, the pilots do 100' AGL flyovers of the cadet area, between the chapel and the mountains, and wake everyone up before the parade.  It is pretty cool to see everyone just kinda hangin' out on the t-zo watching.

Wierd.. if its private why is it listed on their website?
I suppose to head off any noise complaints or something to that regard.

It is listed because it is a major event for the Academy, public or private, it is still a big deal for them.... hence the annoucement!

It is not private, but I am pretty sure you can't get tickets unless you know a cadet.

I won't have tickets.  HEHE  Last year I was given this little green pin that allowed me to walk within 10' of the president without getting taken down by the secret service.  LOL

I will be at the statdium again this year for graduation setting in our CE booth.

Well.. since you cannot buy a ticket and go.. meaning a privilaged show I would call it private. Joe blow cannot just walk up and buy a ticket.

Anyway.. I will just go to the June 4th show.

I'll be sitting on my porch watching the whole thing.  Last year they flew right over my house in Peregrine and were banking so low that I could read the numbers off the side of the planes!

Roger that.

Guess you'll have to find your tickets somewhere else, I seem to have used them all up...
