I looked at one of these on Saturday, and really kinda liked it. Tell me your thoughts.

They are expensive.  Buy a 4runner and build it up.
I have had a couple built Land Cruisers at work which looked pretty sweet but that's all I can say about em.

They come w/ front and rear lockers, solid front axle so they are pretty rock solid off roaders out of the box.  Their biggest downfall is the overall size as they are fuckin gorillas on the trail.  Very capable but also very good fuel drinkers too.

4Runners have 2 rows, and Land Cruisers have 3 rows - hence my considering a Land Cruiser and not a 4Runner.

lc's are bad ass.  i'd rock one over a runner.  runners are great and all but their ifs is a limiting factor.  while i was looking for a runner after the tacoma was totalled i found a lc that was fully trail prepped with long travel suspension on 40's for $11k in denver.  i almost bought it.
