and your point is what? The car originally sold for nearly 48,000 when it was new and it has been maintained about as fanatically as possible. It is being sold for 1/4 of that price and already roughly $10,000 in very tasteful performance mods, so how is this a bad deal? I have been looking at this particular line of car for YEARS and this is the finest example I have ever seen. I have a feeling though that it might already be sold though... I will know soon enough though.

Nate has a point. Most banks don't do car loans on vehicles with more than 100k miles, and they shy away from loaning on vehicles older than 8 years.

its got 190,xxx miles on it............ its an audi

buying cars sight unseen deserve more than pics and emails

the engine and tranny are tired im sure

not trying to downplay the car by any means but audis are not hondas ;-)

We need to just wait until Scott gets back home! We will have money saved up by then and he can look at cars in person in areas we will be in! I know, I might sound like a party pooper....but it does not make sense to me to look at a car when you are not due back until Aug

Every major wear item you can possibly think of has been changed in the last 15k. I realize the mileage high, but I think this car is the exception to the rule.

hey, when it comes to money and bills...I worry about spending too much! And I still think it is better to look at cars in person than online with pics.

I can agree with this I was really worried when Juan bought the Jetta with out seeing it. It was something about transferring that kind of money to someone you do not know and then trusting that they will ship it and the car will be in the condition that they stated it would be in. Although Juan did have a good experience and got a great car not sure that everyone is so honest.

I also think that it is a deployment thing, I swear that every time Juan is deployed he gets new car fever and starts to shop around. He is already looking for something in Hawaii if we decide not to ship his car..
