Greetings from Alabama! My name is Chris Cooley, I'm with H2OTuning in Huntsville,AL. I was recentley re-reading an issue of PVW and found out about your club in the James Clark feature. It was because of his willingness to drive long distance to events that encouraged me to invite your whole crew to Southern Worthersee. It will be held in Helen,GA on May 12,13,2007. Helen is a wonderful recreation of an Austrian alpine village in the southern tip of the Appalachians.(1 hr NO of ATL)The town offers an authentic Worthersee backdrop with biergartens, shops, tons of cheap rooms, beautiful mountain scenery ( nothing new for you guys!) and some fantastic mountain two lanes. This inaugural event is VAG themed, and is a non-competitive S&S. We will be sponsored by VWVortex and TTTuning, and featured in PVW and Deutsche Motorsport Mag later in 2007. Vortex will begin displaying our banner and forum in February and linked to our official website. The event is free and TTT will be giving away good swag! No, it's for real, check the sites/forums for DubSud, TNDubs, VolksFolks, ToplessRabbit, Water-Werkes, H2Otuning or Call Nash at DurtyDubs in ATL. I know it's a long haul, but the event has grown exponentially since we began. We're expecting now @250-400 cars and it isn't even on Vortex yet. We've worked very closeley with the city of Helen to insure the success of this event. Other sponsors are in the works but not final.

When I typed in the name of the guy with the Jetta on S-class chromes that was in PVW, it blanked out his name, but his initial are J,C and his wife's name is Alison I think, and he has a friend named Colorado, you gotta know him.

Dude's first name is James and his last name is Clark, but when I typed it normally it blanked it out? Dunno....anywa y hope ya'll can make it, Saturday will be open cruise so everyone can enjoy the town, Sunday will be the GTG and peoples choice followed by the mountain/river cruise.

We may end up going to this.... Most of our family is in Macon anyhow, so it would turn into a vacation for us....

But for some reason, I don't think my wife wants to drive across country in THE Jetta?

Thanks for posting this, I wish I could check it out this year, but I will still be in Korea. I will certainly make it a point to be there next year since I will be stationed near Savannah.

As for the rest of you pansies, this sounds like it will be a damn good time. I suggest you get your crap together and at least TRY to go!!! There is plenty of time to save and plan for it, and there is also plenty of time to ask for a ew days off at work. DO IT, DO IT!!!!
