Snow Performance
« on: April 13, 2005, 05:32:04 AM »

So, this past Sunday I was watching Two Guys Garage and saw this:

http://www.snowperformance.net/proddetail.asp?prod=Auto020

I went to the web site, and it's mostly geared around muscle cars and trucks, so I email them and the responded and said the stage II set would work for the MKIV.

What are your thoughts?  The items seems it would be very useful.

That's just a fancy name for water injection.  That technology has been around for years.  There are definitely better ways to spend $400 on a 1.8T.

It actually is a good thing for forced induction, but a better intercooler on a 1.8 would be moeny better spent.  Less hassle, never "runs out" etc.  The fact they use methanol as well and their pump holds up is impressive.

Snow Performance respond for a group buy question, this is after finding out noybody is really interested - but for those of you that might want to get this, here is the info

"For six or more kits purchased by a group we will be able to discount 15% off of the retail price...We will set-up a group name so we can differentiate your group from others.."
