Bowling Night & Game Night
« on: January 07, 2007, 09:42:47 PM »

We are talking about a Bowling night or maybe weekend day. Who all would like to do this.

And a game night. We can take turns at different houses. We were thinking friday for this. We had tons of fun playing scattergories the other night. And Dan & I were out looking at other games.

I was thinking we may not be able to do weekly of bowling. But lets get ideas and start planning. Post Up!

I've got a shitload of board games... Uno Attack, Uno Splash, Phase 10, Gender Gap, Scattergories, and the list goes on and on....

Naps, where can I get replacement cards for Uno Attack without having to buy the whole damn thing again????

I will check on open bowling times today and find out about bummer bowling and daycare for the kids.

And we can start game night this friday.

One thing everyone needs to keep in mind lots of us have kids and so opening up your home for game night on friday you need to know we will have our kids. I know the 3 of us that always bring our kids have said yes on this.

If we want to start posting dates on who wants to host game night I will set a game night calender.

I think we set it up everyone bring your own drinks and try to all pitch in for snacks like chips and dips.

I'll make a list of all the board games that I have when I get home this evening....
I've been thinking about buying RISK, but I'm not sure there would be much interest in that???

I also just got a U.S. Navy version of Monolopy

Kids, Weeknight = I don't think that would work, by the time we get off work, change, drive up there, bowl, drive back and then get home = Midnight or later.

ok guys it looks like we have a good group started here.

So who wants to host this friday's game night. And what game?
Lets start putting in host dates. So everyone can plan. Cause some might not want to play some games and thats fine they don't have to come that night. But if we can do this a month at a time it will help keep it together.

I will be calling tomorrow about monday night bowling prices and times. I called to get general info at 2 different places and those people talk to fast with way to much info. hehe So Kelly & I decided on Monday night and I will go from there as to where and prices.

And if you don't like bowling no one cares you don't have to come. We are getting group events together for the winter when its to damn cold to work on our cars. But this still gives us time to talk and plan.

I would not plan anything for this friday....anot her storm is coming through and the temps highs are like 10 degrees.  And Saturday is like 10 degrees all day...may not be a good GTG night either

I have plans Fri night already(Kat has a friend from school spending the night)
