Ok, setting. The club went up to Bug-in 08. Chad was there in a 4x4 Audi TT with some mad tyte bling-bling rims and a cool euro plate that said "DoWorkSon" complete with random umlauts. In our group there were some tastefully modded A4's and an RS4. Nice OEM+ stuff that would be competing in the "show" against Chad's TT. For the most part there was very little interaction between Chad and the people from 719. What there was was Chad pointedly ignoring certain members. At the end of the day, I was attending the award's ceremony, hoping beyond hope that Bill won an award, and Chad gets a runner up trophy for the "catch all" category that the Audi's fell into. On his way out of the tent he decided to "present" (Nener nener nener! Lookee what I got!) his trophy to some of the e719 members working the DATR both. Later that day on the forums, we were all speculating on how a TT with Rimz won an award, but the clean RS4 that was with us didn't. This was a response that he sent me in a PM from a guest account:
You know Chris you really do amaze the shit out of me. You and I have never had issues, EVER. Did you let your little 719 buddies talk you into hating me?? I have never talk about you at all. But a little birdie called me tonight and said you were on here talking about me. It so funny how you guys hate on so many springs and Denver people and yet the on-going joke in town is 719. You're the only car club in the state of Colorado that has this many issues. I run into at least 1-2 people a month in town that have nothing but negative stuff to say about you guys.
I never had any
real issues with him. These PM's really pissed me off though, especially since he was too much of a coward to create an account that I could respond to. The only
bad things I've heard about Edition 719 is the same drama shit that is reflected in any of the communities (Metrodubs, Union 1609, RM section of Vortex, etc.) and usually blows over after the drama queens either leave or get their kicks out.
Oh and another thing I was told by Jeff (Event Supervisor) to place the car in special because of there not being an Audi or Porsche class this year.
For some reason he seems to think that having to ask a dumb question from someone important makes him special. If he had asked any of the volunteers, like the other Audi people with us, he would have gotten the same answer.
So if you want my STOCK (hardly) car to run any one of your piece of crap cars on the track on Wed. nights, just meet me up at Bandy. I have a fully built and Revo tuned motor from European Performance which includes a GT28rs turbo, s4 SMIC, 5bar FPR, REVO flash, 650 injectors, big brake upgrade (which alone is worth more then most of the 719 rides) 19" staggard Thruxtons, In dash multi-media with GPS nav, i-pod direct link, Liquid TT crystal LCD heads-up display,..

You guys have done nothing but dog on me and Kelly since we left the club. I have done nothing to any of you guys. I never see anyone and I keep my distance. I never call you, go to the meets to cause trouble, nothing.

left. I remember you buzzed us in the Walmart parking lot once when we were going up to a Denver GTG, and again on the way up there. You must've gotten lost because we never even saw you there.
I guess I see your true colors. Kelly and I ran into you and your girlfriend while driving to Denver and waived. We have never had issues with you. Oh and another thing, if your club is so great and everything else, maybe you ought to talk to the neighbors and DEA / ATF about why people in your club are getting busted for running dope and illegal weapons....... .
