Not a fan of Europlates... unless they are on cars in Europe.  Otherwise you are just trying to make your car something it isn't.  How is it any different than misbadging?  Think Type R emblems.   :roll:

And don't forget, drilling holes in a clean bumper is a big NO-NO as well :evil:

It's still misbadging.

Badging up: really freaking lame and grounds for termination.
Badging down: a clever way to hurt egos at the track when they get beat by an "A4" marked S4.
Misbadging: The poor man's approach to Eurospec components... minus the European components.  It's like badging up... but worse.

Editied: I'm a moron and can't spell "approach."   :roll:

rofl... so I take it you aren't a fan of "Bora"....

At one time I was thinking of replacing "Bora" with the "APR Tuned" badges like I have on the front.

Not one bit.  But that's MHO.

I think no badges are even better than ARP badges, which are better than misbadges.

Hmm... I'll have to go look again.
Maybe ONLY have APR Tuned on the back...

I agree with Nick and Pete on the no holes in a clean bumper! But.... if you buy a car that has had a euro plate on it before, and you go to put your state tag on, you'd most likely find 2 holes wider then your american tag....

Thats why I put my euro plate on.... I dont want to see the holes period... and I didnt want to put the cash down for a new bumper cover.

I think euro plates are completely different then badges... If I were to swap a VR into my GTI, I sure as hell wouldnt put VR badges on it, but it'll still have the euro tag, covering the euro holes....

As far as the badges go...

I like a squeaky clean bottom with enough information to let me know what I'm looking at;
