Bad news: I confirmed that my brake modulator is bad and needs to be replaced. That's not cheap either.

Good news. I talked with a company today that rebuilds ABS modules for A4's. They will do mine for $264 with a five year warranty. That's sounds pretty damn good to me. I hope to have this little issue fixed by next weekend.
