I'm not sure where everyone is getting this idea of me getting summer tires in the winter.  I have toyo proxes 4 right now and they performed beautifully last winter, they just have no tread left now.

Do you not drive your car in the winter?  I think your timing is what is confusing me.  Do you not live in Colorado like a bunch of us?

Yes, but i need tires ASAP, so i figure if im gonna buy tires i might as well go ahead and get the wheels now and get it all in one fell swoop, everyone else is seeming to disagree with me though lol.

Yep, we are disagreeing because it makes more sense to do it the other way.  Get either good all season or dedicated witner tires now and then get your good wheels and tires later.

OK, do what you're gonna do but mark my words it will look like ass having bling bling 18"s at stock ride height.  And you will know it the second you bolt them up.  Prepare yourself for the dissapointment before hand.  You would be better off buying some tires for your stock wheels that are made to not slide into a curb when it snows, save up some money and buy some nice bigger (19"s) for when it is nice out and get some proper high performance tires at that time.  Just think how long your tires will last when you have two sets each suited for the various seasons we get here in Colorado.
