these guys came out of Glen Burnie, MD... Jason Heffner built my first mustang, and one of my best friends from high school moved down to FL with them... they set the record for the fastest ET in the 1/4 mile with a manual tranny car...

now they are moving on to the GT as well...

7 second car beats a hyabusa anyday... http://www.heffnersperformance.com/videos/2005/CHADS7.99.wmv

There's a feature about this guy in this month's Car and Driver and talks about twin-turbo kits for Lambo Gallardo and Ford GT.  Looks like really nice work!

yeah... Jason is a pretty good guy...

when he first started his shop, it was a double deep, one car garage, with a lift in the back end... guys would come to his shop with their brand new Vipers, and brown bags full of cash, saying "i want twins!" It was pretty amazing to get to watch those guys.... One guy even came in with a "hennessy" viper... he told Jason what hennessy had done to his car, and everyone in the shop started to laugh.... when all was said and done, the poor bastard had thought he had a stroker kit and cams installed, but instead, his timing was way advanced, and his fuel was leaned out....

I love the feel of an ass end of a car sliding out at full throttle, but I am going to stay with the fwd VW's for now....
