Another thing.  Why would he lift a 2wd blazer?  There is nowhere around here to do any pre-running stuff.  Confused :?:

Look at the picture of the car before they started, this thing was not at stock ride height and it would slam down on the frame rail when you hit even a moderate bump or dip.

You got hosed on that lift kit.  Who made it and what did they do to raise the rear?

It is a Doetch brand. The rear is lifted with shackles.

It looks like you added an ad-a-leaf to lowered springs.  Maybe that is your problem?  Either that or you forgot to take out the lowering blocks.

When it was lowered we used 3" drop leaf springs with 1"blocks. The shackles were made to be used with the factory springs (luckily we still had those in the yard).

The main reason he wanted to lift it is because we couldn't afford (or chose not to) the payment on a 4dr Dakota.

And by "in the yard" you probably mean right in the middle of the front yard, right? BTW, the lawn's looking GOOD!

This just makes me laugh:

there needs to be some legislation to stop Fountain car owners from modding anything with an engine... :P

Duane installed everything correctly the idots that sell the kit are just that.... anyone that has ever driven it before knows the thing was slammed so low that when you went over a minor speed bump you scrape the frame no matter how you take it  :?  and it was more than anything else so it wouldn't feel like driving a soccer mom station wagon

Lookin much better.  Much more practical.

Only thing I see in their front yard is the stuff from siding guys putting new siding and windows on the house to improve it.
