I was going to wait until I had all of the pics, but I didn't. It is still unfinished. We were misled when we purchased the lift, apparently its supposed to sit the way it does. Duane is going to fabricate a flip kit to move the leaf springs above the axle (probably on Monday) so it will level out.

Before with a 3" front and 4" rear drop:

Old vs new shock:

haha:

Look at that gap   :

Later, I'll get pics with the new wheels and tires.

Wow, if it was only an inch or so, I would suggest longer shackles (if they aren't inverted shackles) but that is a lot of lift still needed on the rear.

If you weren't interested in ride, you could do an add-a-leaf or get your springs re-arched.  Neither make for a good ride, but that prolly isn't what you are going for anyway.

Duane has a plan to fix it. I just don't know how soon he will have time to get it accomplished.

You got hosed on that lift kit.  Who made it and what did they do to raise the rear?  It looks like you added an ad-a-leaf to lowered springs.  Maybe that is your problem?  Either that or you forgot to take out the lowering blocks.  That is not right and I have never seen a more poorly designed lift kit than that if it is "supposed" to be like that.  That is just silly.  Spring overs are not terribly hard but you have to be aware of pinion angles and the increased likelyhood of axle wrap.  Ask Greg for advice, I think he knows what he is talking about here.  I think he did a spring over on his yota.

Another thing.  Why would he lift a 2wd blazer?  There is nowhere around here to do any pre-running stuff.  Confused :?:

Shit I drive the streets in Colorado Springs.  I want to raise all my vehicles so I can drive them without fear of falling in some god dammed hole in the road.
