Guy calls, says, "I am wondering what I have to do to have my name and information on your sign"...

me, "Im sorry, i don't understand what you are asking"...

Guy says, "There is a sign on the insurance company's building that says, 'this could be your sign'."...

I respond, "that means that if you lease space in the building and you have the majority of the space, that you can have your company's sign up there.  So, if you run 'mike collision center' and you lease space in the building you can put your sign on the building so people can find you."

Guy, "ohhhhhhh...I guess I misunderstood. .."

Me, "No problem, happens all the time (holding back laughing)  it's a common mistake" (NOT!!!!!!!!!)

Joni - YOU ARE WAYYYYYYY too nice - Tell him hes an idiot and don't call her again.

It is amazing that some people can be so stupid and still make it through life.  I would expect that people like that get hit by cars and busses and stuff as children.

Got ya beat Nap! I had FBI at my door last week, concerning my next door neighbor's ex-husband from 20 years ago. He's being sought for sleeping with a 14 yr old...(look at me putting airin' everyones dirty laundry, how fun!)

HA HA...people are fucking stupid.

I may have encountered the dumbest driver in the city today.
We were at going south on Union....at Woodment girl in white Allero goes to turn left...left turn arrows and go straight lights turn green...she starts to turn left...decides she'd rather go straight...sto ps in the middle of the intersection, turns the car around (since she was too far into the turn) and floors it...cutting of one car and nearly causing a 10 car pile up from the car in front of me all the way back.  All I heard was breaks screeching...

Then, we all start going again and, of course, everyone is pissed at lil girl in the Allero, so everyone is catching up to her and giving her the bird (kinda funny to see)...I go to turn left at Dublin and she decides THIS is where shel'll turn left...so she changes lanes into the turn lane without her turn signal and was seriuosly within inches of clipping the front of the Jetta...So, of course, I honk my horn at her... She flipped me off.  SO, I was way early to where I needed to be so I followed her for a while - she didn't use her turn signal once from there all the way out to Powers.  

The entire time, she's on the phone, not even glancing to see if cars are where she wants to be.

Fucking hell, some peoples kids...serious ly.

Seriously, somebody needs to propose a bill to improve the "idiot driver quotient" in Colorado. It's a problem everywhere, but I live here. If we had a system in place like Germany, where it costs more than a meal at McDonald's to get your license, I think people would pay more attention. Here's my proposal:

1) Every licensed driver in the state has to retake a driving exam
2) Issue and renewal of a license will cost $300.00
3) Every prospective driver must take education totalling 100 hours of in-car time
4) Better traffic enforcement for the non-revenue-generating offenses
5) Stiffer penalties, i.e.- Getting license suspended for 6 months if you talk on a cell phone (without hands-free device) while driving

I can't stand ignorance behind the wheel...

I'd be ok with Big Brother cameras for shit like this - so I can call and be like, "Look what happened at Union and Woodmen about 2 mintues ago.." then someone looks, says, "Ticketable offense," zooms into license plate and send her a ticket with a fucking DVD of her retarded manuever in the middle of the intersection.
