In my opinion, no.  THe factory put 10.1" on GLi & GTI 2.0 16V and Scirocco 16V - 123-130 hp.  The Corrado G60 had 11" brakes with 158hp.

I would go 11" at least.

And your stuff is getting boxed tonight - sorry it has taken so long.

If you do go 11" and you still want more you can get Audi calipers which are dual piston instead of the single piston of the corrado.  They bolt right on and fit with the corrado 11' rotors.  Other than the dual piston design they are identical.  Those 10.1" brakes you posted are nice because they have the hubs and carriers you need for the "11 setup.  The smaller brakes have an interagal hub and carrier system where you cannot use different calipers.  These might be worth looking into if you want to buy remanufactered calipers and new disks anyways.  You will also need a 22mm master cylinder.  I got mine from checkers and gave them my old smaller one as a core.  It cost like $15 that way.  They couldn't tell the difference.  I could.

If you're going to upgrade the brakes you might as well go with the 11" Corrado setup.  As long as you never plan to run anything smaller than a 15 inch wheel you should be good to go.

I still can't get over how cheap this shit has beccome.  This stuff used to be high dollar.  You would pay $200 just for one straight spindle.  I guess people weren't partting out that many Corrados then.  And if they were the spindles were usually fucked.  I sold my entire 11" setup to a guy in Canada for $600 and he had to pay import duties and shipping on top of that.  They sold instantly at that price and there were a lot of others that were pissed that they didn't get them in time.
