Tan VW Diesel Caddy in town

Navy guy at work told about the tan Diesel Caddy by his house for sale.  Very little rust, body is straight.  Going price $400, I told him if he didn't get me the rest of the info I'd leave him in a shallow ditch.  

Going to talk with the seller asap.   I need another car.  ;)  or rather a truck.

Really a shame that it sold to someone we don't know.  $400 for a straight body, no rust caddy and diesel to boot.   Ah well.

Would have made a nice daily driver while I work on the Scirocco.
