Hey all I'm new to the group......... ....was referred here from a card on my wiper blade the other night. Anyways I have a B5 A4 1.8tq that I've had for a little over a month now and it has completely ripped it's flex tube that's between the cat and the pipe to the muffler off, so now it sounds a bit too ricey for me. The only thing about it I like is that it spools a bit quicker and now I can hear it doing that. I can get a straight pipe from the cat back put on it for cheap which is good because it seems all my money is being voluntarily donated to CSPD. Does anybody know how that would sound on my car or any more suggestions?? Thanks.

I should but it just seems too bone stock for that......... I want to get some other than stock rims for it and maybe some Tein lowering springs since it seems like it has more clearance than my jeep did.

Welcome and it's good to see the cards doing their magic

As far as Tein lowering springs... there are probably 20 other better ways to lower your car.  After all it's a European car..don't put Japanese parts on it  ;-)
I'm sure some of the other Audi owners will chime in soon and give you some great modding advice!

Glad  you stopped by.  You should check out muffler masters for exhaust work.  I have nothing but good things to say about their work and customer service.

That's actually who it is........the one over off Austin Bluffs right? And did'nt you run the show last year for the Dubs Along the Rockies over at the World Arena, that SN seems familiar. And your probably right about the Tein's Jesus, it's just I've heard nothing but good about them.

Colorado 16V (Scott) is the main show guy here.

I'm sure those Tein springs are good...I'm just not feeling Jap parts on the Euro car  ;-)

Welcome-Some coil ideas for your B5- Stassis and H&R.  I feel your pain on your monetary donations to the cops, so maybe just some Eibach springs could work for a while.  But for all that work of installing new springs (if your doing the work yourself) I'd just do it right and get the coils...

Is your A4 sport or non-sport?  My old B5 was a sport and I never really felt the need to mess with it.

It is indeed a sport and I love the steering feel but I think it has too much body roll and I'd like to give it a more aggressive look. Any ideas on how to get out of these tickets at court??

What color A4 is it, and where were you parked when you got "carded"?  I hand out cars to any and all B5 A4's, but there's a reason for that.

Well I pulled into Buffalo Wild Wings and there was an B5 S4, B5 A4 and  a B7 A4 all parked along the back so I figured hells yeah! and parked next to them. It's Sanotorin Blue I think is the name of it.
