Thanks a ton for all the responses...ye a, I'm def glad that everyone wasn't injured because that was the most important thing.  I found that the cracked windshield came from my buddies hand and soda can and not his dome.  The car can always be fixed.  I just pray that it isn't too bad.  I called the auto shop and the lady couldn't find the guy that looked at the car.  She mentioned something about the transmission so I hope that I didn't somehow fuck that up too.  I don't know, I'm just so upset about the whole damn thing and I have the worst stomach ache ever...couldn't sleep last night either...

*UPDATE*

Auto shop just called...they haven't had a solid look at the car, but the mechanic pulled the right front suspension apart and said it was fooked...thats all he said other then he'd look at it first thing in the morning on Monday.  Oh well, kinda nice getting 10 bucks a day for each day its in the shop so the longer the better.  Hopefully I can manage to get to the GTG tomorrow.  That is all...

Yeah 8034 is 10ABW.  We are in the C.E. bldg that is by the HAWK.  What year cadet are you?  Am I going to be spotting you on the field at graduation this year like I did Ryan last year?  I will probably be at the stadium at about 4am graduation day doing the security walk through like the last 2 years.

I had talked with Brandon about doing an RS4 bumper, and agree with him.  Unless you need the additional flow an RS4 allows, the S4 bumper proves a much cleaner and less "see me" look.  plus the S4 bumper is already very functional.

im not going to argue that the stock bumper isnt bad.  i like it. but........... .... i know 2 S4's in colorado that have rs4 bumpers.  dain and robbie (from bolder).  and there is no other bumper to put on the S4.

if i were to get an RS4 bumper i would get an OEM one being that they are prolly going to cost about the same as a S4 bumper.  if you still decide you don't like the oem rs4 your could trade and still make money.  these are the times to take advantage of insurance. lol.

How should I approach this?  Do I go to the repair shop and be like, get and RS4 bumper instead?  Also, they said something about the suspension needs to be replaced.  I was told on Sat that the suspension has to be replaced in pairs and that it will prob be more expensive to get the OEM shit then an aftermarket performance suspension...h ow should i address this too?  That would be mad sweet if I could nail some aftermarket shit from this...

have the insurance write you a check for what it would cost to fix.  then go out and buy the stuff you need to fix.  red nolan will buy oem stuff prolly from audi and oem audi stuff is VERY expensive.

make a list of the general stuff that needs to be fixed. (ie. RF suspension, bumper, RF intercooler, and RF headlight (which i believe have to be bought in pairs).  go to audi and have them quote you the "parts cost".

you could do it this way
1.  take the money and have the hard stuff fixed (non-performance stuff)  then buy your aftermarket suspension, apr SMIC's, s4 or rs4 bumper, euro spec headlights.  and you will prolly still have money left over.  

or you could have them fix everything expect the suspension.  so now you just get a suspension which is what you wanted all along.

there are many oppurtunities.  you just need to milk the insurance company.  your insurance is prolly going to go up so take advantage and possibly make some extra cash.

i really don't know the extent of the damage so that will have to be addressed more carefully.  i would like to take a look at your car tho.

Talked to RN today...the intial estimate is at 7 large.  Tomorrow, the mechanic is going to do what they call a tear down to see if there is any other damage, and if so, they'll add that into the estimate.  Also, I should have a list of the fooked parts tomorrow afternoon.  The guy that I've been talkin to is Tim, so if any of you know who he is and if he is cool w/ me sourcing my own parts, let me know.  Thanks!!

 my 2 cents on the front cover, you can "put" an RS4 bumper on anything-
 but have you ever seen someone "put" a US spec S4 bumper on a plain jane A4?  I have'nt-

 watch the body shop closely- after all, it's just twisted car to them ( all body shops) seen some terrible hack jobs to otherwise nice cars, at least Noland seems to do quality work----    :sly:   just keep tabs on em  :sly:

*Update*

Welp, went to RN and got the almost official quote...right now the damage is at almost 9700.  After I pay the deductible, it will put it at 9200.  According to the computer, its at 78% total value, which to me doesn't make any sense cause I think blue book value is like almost 20 grand.  Its not offical yet because there apparently is a slight bend in the front right frame rail (there was some metal shit that was attached to it and caused it to bend slighty...it doesn't look that bad).  They said that if its a couple centimeters off, I'll be good to go, but if its more then that, they are going to total it.  The other thing they have to look at is the suspension...i f it is tweaked, they are going to toal it.

There is a state farm rep comming to look at it on thurs to see if its worth fixing.  I calculated it out and they are pricing it off of an S4 worth 12,300...supposedly the guy that comes out is going to see if he thinks its worth more then 12,300 and will have the decision by late friday or monday.  Thats the way i understand it, but i could be wrong...as of right now, i'm not concerned about putting aftermarket shit on it, etc...i just want to get it fixed.

Anyways, I'm gonna head to my buddies house in phoenix tomorrow through sunday because i really need to get out of this hell hole (Academy) and relax/clear my head.  Thanks everyone for your help and support...hope fully this will work out and I'll have my car back up and running soon.
