Met this dude down the street.

84 audi coupe gt with a  2bennet  10V MC turbo engine conversion swap.

The car looks tight and won a couple of shows on this side of the country.

Ricey?!?! Never heard that before regarding my car. Euro headlights, taillights, Kamei X1 (German BTW) body kit, etc. Yeah it's a rice rocket alright.

FWIW this shit is ricey

Dude, freakin relax.  Between the Konig wheels (read ricey) with an offset that looks like 50mm (prolly a combo of the wheel offset, the angle of the photo, and the side-skirts), a front fender wit hlouvers that almost look like Z3 vents, the ricey comment was not a jump-to conclusion.

With the other wheels and angle of the photo, it looks a million times better.

i wasn't a fan of the first wheels either, but the bbs clones give the car the look it was meant to have, mean and aggressive. Big ups for a clean audi.  :o

Hell man, I live in CA all we do is relax out here.  8)  It's all good.

That first pic is not the best shot of the car I'll admit. Weird angle, lighting, camera phone pic. I guess it does look somewhat off in that shot.

The Konigs I had were purchased in '99 (pre F&F) and not every andoH had them. They did become more of a rice wheel after a few years, but dammit I had them first!

The "louvers" (which are simply slits cut in the fender) are fully functional. The airbox was relocated directly behind the fender to clear the turbo and its plumbing. Intake needed more cold air after being moved from it's stock location. I did not put them on both sides (as recommended by my body shop to keep it uniform) because I thought fake vents would be ghey.

Anyway, maybe I'll make it out ther for Dubs along the Rockies someday.

I can respect that, a real functional mod

You're on your own with the Konigs though :giggle:

C'mon, the Konigs weren't THAT bad. I do like my ASAs much better though.

We'll see about the road trip BTW, work schedule sucks but if Oliver is down maybe...

Thanks. The Konigs are history already, I have the 17" ASA AR1s pictured above (& below) on the car right now.
