gti saposidly has a stage 3 turbo kit or what not..

that's about the most bullshit i've read on this board in at least a few hours.  Evo's are pretty much known for "supercar" like handling for $30K.

I loved that video of the S4 taking down the Supra.  never underestimate the fact that S4 are AWD and 2.7L bi-turbo.  Yes, Supras are hella cool but don't shoot a car down for having four doors.

I have a lot of respect for drifting and admire the drives who can do it safely.  With that said, I do not think he was out of line drifting that track.  However, I do think it is out of line to drift an SCCA course.  What differentiates the two?  I have no idea.  That is just my personal opinion.

It might slow you down but that didn't seem to stop him from passing the Porsche.  I agree that unless it a drifting competition you shouldn't be drifting, but I'd have to say that was probably a free-for-all day at the track as opposed to an actual competition.  He was probably just practicing.

Practicing or not, I would get off the track as soon as I saw somebody doing it. As the Evo demonstrated, if you don't know what you are doing...

I'd have to say he knew what he was doing.  Up until the crash he was doing a kick ass job.  Even Michael Schumacher wrecks now and then, and he's arguably the world's best driver.
