interesting that you posted that because i've been thinking about a front engined, watercooled, rear wheel drive, tub chassis ghia for land speed racing.  motor would be a bored and stroked 16v that would run n/a, n/a + nitrous, turbo'd, and turbo'd + nitrous.  sourcing parts hasn't been too bad except that i can't find an adapter that would mount a vw motor to a gm bellhousing.  one day when i'm a little more financially 'well off' i'll build it, oh yes i will...

actually kennedy was the first place i looked.  their specialty is any kind of motor to aircooled trans adapters....li ke they seriously can adapt ANYTHING.  i'm thinking i'll just have to machine one on my own.
