Yeah so basically there is no chance of that ever happening at an autocross.

Umm, no.  Have you ever done a track day?  Same thing.  If your car is in good order a track day is nothing.  And if it is someone that is into performance, they likely have upgraded brakes, suspension, wheels, tires, and engine.  

Most cars last 100-200,000 miles of normal use.  Why would 50 miles of spirited use wear everything out?  

I have done track days on bikes and cars.
