Clearly the paint job is straight up ASS.. but what do you guru's think about the car overall?

That paint job might be hiding alot of shit, I thought you were set on an oval? You live in AZ find a rust free one there. When I lived in Tucson I found a shitload just driving around older neighborhoods.

I agree..after looking at the pics with a microscope I'm sure that paint is hiding some bullshit.
I am set on an Oval..but I'll be damned if I can find a decent one for less than $5K. All I want is a solid body/pan with an engine that runs. I'll handle the rest ;-) I live about 45 mins from Tucson..but I don't usually go up there and just drive around old neighborhoods.
Eventually if I can't find an Oval I would settle for a 58-67

I think that paint is hiding rust. Get pictures of behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels on the body, heater channel, under battery and floor boards etc.
