Funny thing is that I'm almost positve the one bid that is has so far is from the previous owner of the car.

Pat, you're absolutely right. As a matter of fact, I just found out that Ben (the PO) lives right near here and is good friends with one of the guys I wrench with. Maybe if he buys it back, I can check it out!  :o

WERD .. I was pretty sure Ben was the PO .. wonder why he isn't just buying it back direct rather than going through the ebay hassle.

Its a neat car, I saw it up close years and years ago.  It looks a bit worn now.  Well, a lot worn.  And didn't it get an efi conversion at one point?  Would be cool nonetheless.

Dunno about all that Greg..
I think it would be cool to buy the car and update it's styling a little and have some fun.

Easy to virtual mod- I would leave it as is, install some wheels and coilovers, probably methanol injection and a water sprayer on the intercooler and call it done.

I wouldn't... just as long as you kept all the original parts and was able to put it back to stock if you wanted to sell it. The biggest thing is that bitch needs a new paint job... alot of the paint is peeling. But i dont know if I'd want to keep it yellow LOL

There's a lot of history to that car. I think that's why no one's fucking with it. Apparently when Ben sold it to that guy, he started "unmodding" a lot of the stuff that Ben did. Ironically, he didn't mod anything, just made it more functional.
