I paid $450 when I bought mine back in high school...   I was pretty much a box car though.  The previous owner had taken the car entirely apart then decided he wanted to get into jeeps.  I bought it for parts however my "good" car turned out to be more of a lemon so i rebuilt this entirely back up.

Nice 914, is it a '71? Here's my Dad's old 914 2.0:

And my first Porsche.

The day I bought it:

The day my wife wrecked it:

The day I got it back home after the repair:

And who says Porsches aren't practical? (Yeah the car was dirty that day.)

sweet josh! i need to find my picture of jasmine when she was a baby riding in the back of the 944. those back seats work great for baby seats.

that nose on the 928, who made that? kinda looks like the projectzwo front end for mk3 vdubs.

Olivier Jacquemond. He's kindof like Alois Ruf for 928's. After my wife wrecked the car, he tuned it for free - on the condition that when I left Germany, I would sell the car to him for a predetermined price...

Always looking for another, but I'm very picky - I know exactly what I want and am willing to wait.

I'm looking for a 1986 S, or a 1985 Euro S. I like the '83-86 bodystyle the best. S4's look kinda chunky...

my friend's shop had a chocolate brown euro s in a little while ago. they did a lot of work to it. ran into a few issues getting parts since it was euro. it was in pretty good shape when they finished, just needed some cosmetics. i doubt the guy would sell it though. that's the only european 928 i've ever seen in america.

They pop up every once in a while, but not often. Alot of people advertise their NA cars as "Euro-spec" - but there are some sure-fire ways to know if it's real. Having owned one helps...

Nope, not a 71 but a 72 with late model tranny and 2liter engine bored out to 2.4liters with dual webters, web cam, etc.....

Your dads car looks nice, I used to have those rims way back when....
