Actually, my alarm used to go off at 9:28 - I have also had it set to 3:56, 9:11, and 9:51.

And for all those rear-engine guys: I like the 911 too. In fact, if I could have a Porsche, and only one Porsche, it would either be a 964 Turbo 3.6, a 996 GT3 RS, or a 997 Carrera 4S. But if I could have 2, I'd add a 928 S pretty much exactly like the dark blue one below.

A couple of faves:

I guess I really like those wheels.

Actually Pat, you hit the nail right on its head with the Pacer comment. The Porsche designer (Tone Lapine) actually did draw inspiration for the 928's shape from the Pacer, which at its core was a sound design. The Pacer was held back by mechanicals and an unfortunate amount of glass area - but it was an interesting idea.

Wow! I am really suprised.  I would have thought you would like the 928.

P.S. I love the 928 but wouldn't own one unless it was an S4, GT, or GTS with a 5-speed.

I would much rather buy a blown up 928 and put a blown small block  in it.
