one question, with this in mind.......as cool as that is and i am sure it sounds pretty scarey sitting next to in traffic......
do you think that thing is safer now that it has a V8 in it ?

Fucking A that rocks..
Imagine doing that with a STI motor? Mid engine, RWD, and you could use the engine housing as a console foot rest for back bench seat because it would be much lower than that V8

The only way that is safer is if it has better brakes, too.
Iron Man Ivan Stewart has a super clean 21 or 23 window version with a V8. Check this one out:

look at the sides, there seem to be air inlets. and i am pretty sure the Rad is right above the engine there, maybe, unless that is one hell of a oil cooler.

Maybe they use the bus to tow their race car to the Auto-X events???
Pretty clean conversion...I'd figure they located radiator(s) in the original engine compartment and used the scoops to help feed them additional air.
There was a really nice splitty in one of the rags a couple years back with a Porsche 911 6-cylinder and tranny and Porsche brakes/wheels all around. It was blue like this one, but had windows all around. All I can think is that that thing must be scary at speed!
