yeah what he said?,...

I'd get chip, suspension, exhaust....

you'd get more bang for the money with the chip then start from there.

The right question is who has the shiniest wheels in the group - that's what you need to ask.    Just kidding.  But seriously, come on guys, the Jetta is the fastest 1.8 in NA.  Or, 337Greg, was it the world??  HEE HEE

well if Ryan learns how to drive his POS he will be the fastest, but the fastest time slip in existence at present would have to be Lindsey's Jetta... at least until Jeff gets his Audi done and then no one is safe...

Lovett's car would be fast too, but he sucks at drag racing and coasted to a 16 with an 1/8th mile full throttle burst and then blew a boost tube! Wasn't Pat driving that?

The intake is actually not here yet... (long story) but I will let you know when it gets here. As for price... how does $100 sound?

i'd put suspension at the end of your list of mods.  20th's are the least hoopty looking stock vw's.

as far as engine mods go, the 007 doesn't really give you any more power, its just more reliable than the stock plastic pos.  a cai might give you a tiny bit of power, but i think most people do it for the bov sound.  you would probably make the same power with a modded oem intake system and a k&n filter.  if you do decide to do your exhaust, you'll see the most improvement with a full turbo back system.  if you just want something that sounds nice, get a cat back.

you really need to be looking on the vwvortex.  there is an ass-ton of new and used parts for mkiv 1.8t cars.  you were asking who was the fastest in the group and that makes me think you want to go fast.  if so, don't bother with wheels or suspension or crap for the stock turbo setup.  save your money and get a turbo upgrade.  you'll kill eveyone here and look stock doing it.

No way... Josh drove the TDI at PMI. I don't remember what his times were, but I think they were slower than that.  ;-)
