I've got a '91 Jetta GLI 16V for sale. I spent a lot of time replacing pretty much everything you can think of that needs to be replaced except for the engine internals. It's got 175,XXX miles on it. When I got it, it was a wiring mess. I've since cleaned it up. It wasn't running right when I first got it and traced it back to the coolant temp sensor which is now replaced. The car runs strong. I have a low temp thermostat I just got in the mail Friday that I'll throw in and help you install if you need it. I just changed the oil, flushed the coolant system and put in G12, new fan switch, waxed it, cleaned all the grounds, etc. The body is in excellent shape. The only real flaw in the car is the driver's seat bolsters. According to the NADA guidebook website, the car's average retail value is $2700 and in tip top shape it's worth $3700. I will let it for $2000 OBO(unless you'd like to give me more ). Oh, and the reason I'm getting rid of it is because I work too far from home and my Evo gas payments are too much.
