1991  Other Makes : All Models  VECTOR W8

You are bidding on a 1991 Vector W8 Twin Turbo with a 6.0L V8 engine, automatic transmission and only 2,347 original miles. This is one of only 18 made! This vehicle has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power mirrors, power locks, Sony AM/FM stereo cassette, SONY 10 disc CD changer, climate controlled A/C, fog lights, tilt steering, cruise control and more. The engine has 600HP, goes from 0-60 in less than 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 218mph! Only a very few of these remain in existance today. Here is a rare chance to own what most consider the ONLY true American exotic sportscar! This vehicle is super clean inside and out with almost no wear. The engine and transmission seem to be in proper working order to give you peace of mind for a long time. This vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty. Please read Terms of Sale carefully before placing your bid. Thank you for looking and bid with confidence!

Bidding started at $100,000. Now accepting Paypal donations (since I need a car anyways).

I don't know why he put that. It isn't an automatic, it's a sequentially shifted manual with a torque converter. Like on the old Chaparral 2...

Hahaha, I didn't notice that.

And, I have to retract my statement about the transmission. They had originally intended to go with a sequential gearbox, but apparently decided to go with a true automatic due to reliablity concerns.

That was the original idea. It was also built with a riveted composite tub. Notice the name of the company - Vector AEROmotive Corp.
