had you all hung around for another 10 minutes, you would have seen a lineup of 8 A4/S4's. 3 B5 s4's, 2 fairly modded and another chipped one. we also had a B6 S4 with a knarly Magnaflow exhaust show up too. Ross and I hung around and had another guy show up with his B6 A4 with Sportec mono 10 knock-off wheels show up too.

hopefully i'll get a pic someone took tonight, but i'll just say that it was pretty slick rolling down Academy with 8 pairs of HID's and modded Audi's cruising....

not to mention the ricers at the Shell station drooling over themselves as we drove past.

i really don't know. apparently a couple of the guys with B6's saw me at a friends house in Stetson hills and thought i lived there. they kept driving by the house thinking i would be there. they came by the g2g as Ross and I were trying to diagnose my nav+ and we started chatting. Dain with the nogaro blue S4 and mike with a chipped s4 were on the audiworld rocky mountain forums trying to get a g2g going tonight at chipotle.

it was pretty cool when Mike said that he and Dain were at Chipotle waiting and i rolled in with 5 more b6's in tow.

Every time I roll down home on academy to I-25 I encounter all these ricers that wanted to race me. :mad:

man, i had this guy in an eclipse trying to race me the other day. he wanted to put down 4 bills on the race and started talking smack. i told him that i was only there to check things out and not to race, he had this smug look on his face...i asked him what he had done and he replied

"yo, check it, i got me a BOOOST gauge, an EXHAUST and blow off valve!"

i have a feeling i could have taken him, he didn't really look like the smartest of drivers, but i didn't want to get court martialed for racing a dumb eclipse.

the guys said they'll probably come back, just so long as the are more audi's that show. most of them are headed to the south denver D&B g2g, so it should be a good time

My favorite was when I was rolling next to this Passat (before I figured out the exhaust-flowing-through-the-intake problem on my car) and he kept trying to race. I kinda pulled on him a little bit... then he came up next to us and I asked him, "Hey, does your Mom know your have her car out?" He laughed and said he has a civic with an intake and exhaust. Then he asked what I had done and I said, "A little boost."

They he said, "Oh ya? What kind of intake are you running?"

I told him a sweet cone K&N filter.

Good for a laugh.

they are the fast and furious...minu s cars with power. they have the ginormous spoilers and multicolored bodykits that add more weight to the car than actually helping aerodynamic purposes.

i'm just glad that we're a group of mature individuals (for the most part) that actually have some taste and an idea of what "modding" a car is
