Yeah, back when I  was trying to find a private label brand for Motorworks, I talked to some folks about them.  Not worth the headache in my book, but I have no personal experience.

That is what you get for not taking the plane ride out here for DATR!

Tell them you are with the guys that put on DATR, see if that gets you anywhere since they kicked in a sponsorship this year!

i would not support a company of crooks.  Everyone already does not like the springs or the company.  Check out  SFX Performance I got my Intrax ARS coilovers and i love them.  intax also uses koni as there shock provider.  got them for 1000bucks shiped.  Super nice and would get them agiain anytime(if i needed them).

I am all about ghetto modding, but Torching springs is bad and wrong.  I have removed more fucked up torched springs than I care to think about.

Destroys the spring rate and the metals properties, as well and making them sit crooked, etc.  Cut them - yes.  Torch - no.

Well, the kit is on there and the car looks good. I'll snap some pics in the morning after I wash it.

The Vogtland springs actually feel really nice. The FK dampers aren't too stiff, but they're a nice improvement on the stockers. I'd say for a daily driver, its a great combo. FK Dampers and Vogtland springs. Hmmm. Virtually no body roll in hard cornering. Surprising.

Thanks man. Even though the springs feel good, I'm still a little bothered by the experience. And to top it off, he charged me sales tax on my phone in order AFTER he told me he wouldn't b/c it was considered a mail order. Some other dude there said if I called back on Tuesday he'd make good on it, but its yet another hassle in the drama of dealing with these guys.

Anyway, all is good. I just posted pics in another thread.

Nate and Scott. Nate said he had the stuff, then when I called back he was chipping a car, so I dealt with Scott (and ended up buying the stuff from Scott).

Will do. Ed posted something in the Capital Area forum looking for a dyno guy so I applied, but I guess he needs someone on more than just weekends.
