I will say the 2.0T 16v owns the 1.8t tho. Plenty of power and pretty huge number with just chip tuning. This is the best VAG motor yet IMO.

Anyway it's true the MK4 is 99% sold, but no new car for me. I will be building the MK2 Golf that i've always had dreams of building. The search is on for the perfect starting point. I think you guys will like what i come up with, when it's done. The plan is for 6 pistons a blower and some feature worthy styling. The shitty part is no car showing for me this summer, oh well. I'll still be at them all.

I thought all of you guys were talking about the maroon (Saturn?) in the background with all the sweet hook-ups. London, seriously I am going to have to bring over a real car to let you drive. With the money I know you are about to dump in an A2 you can have something better. It may not be as fast as a blown VR6 A2 but can be made to be much faster and is way more enjoyable to drive. Plus you are right, they aren't priced nearly as high as I thought.

Either way the A3 is a kickass car. Feels much quicker than the a4 2.0t, due to weight I am sure. To bad the quattros won't be available till later this year.
