ATTENTION MEMBERS OF EDTION 719! You’ve Been Challenged to a Duel.. A Kickball Duel!!!
We are doing something different and fun!!!! Kickball! MetroDubs will invited you and several other area clubs to play a round robin style tournament. The winner getting bragging rights and a few other goodies as well.
Some basic details;
1. The rules of the game will be loosely based on WAKA Kickball rules and regulations.
2. We will adapt a “beer league” style and have some fun with this as well.
3. Each invited club will need to field a team with at least 10 people (no more than 14) with no less than 4 women on the roster during the game.
4. There will be no more than 10 players on the field at once. (4 outfielders, 4 infielders, 1 pitcher, and 1 catcher)
5. Each team will have one dedicated pitcher and one dedicated catcher at all times.
6. A full roster of 14 people will be eligible to play offense and must rotate on defense.
7. Each team will wear matching color tee shirts, they do not need to have any specific logo on them.
8. A kickball bout will last five full innings.
9. If a team is winning after the top of the 5th inning and is set to kick in the bottom of the inning, the game ends and will be marked as a regulation game.
Each Kickball team will have to pay an entry fee of $50.00 (That’s $5.00 per person or less!)
