So my car is getting some insurance work done and I’m in a Rental car for the next week. After spending a few miles behind the wheel I started to notice some things… Some of these components may seem familiar to most of you guys, hence me thinking to do this. I’m just curious what you guys might think this car is…

Nope, nothing from Wolfsburg. Well, at least it's not obviously from there. It could have some Wolfsburg roots but you wouldn’t think it was by knowing what it is.

Finally, yes. It's a 2011 Buick Regal. I'm impressed with the interior, but the 2.4l Ecotech is typical American sedan lameness.
