Soooo, Whos going and what are some of the car plans? you doing anything special to your car this year?

I iz going this year, i have nothing holding me back this time...
Well most of you that have seen my car lately know my plans but yeah.. Satin Black, Flat Green... and lots of Poke!!!

i think it was somewhere between 40 and 50 per night. really not bad at all for vegas.

I just got my room yesterday and it was $250 from thursday night through sunday night, Which isnt bad at all. My plan is to go lower and wider with a new set of wheels before its go time:)

I stayed in the ghetto rooms last year, Brandon made fun of me... but when it came to check out I wasnt surprised with any extra charges. B, however, wasnt so lucky.

I REALLY hope I make it back for the show this year... its going to be uber close. My car plans (caddy may or may not be finished in time) will be an R32 that I probably would roll to the show with temp tags.

barry, southern worthersee is a badass show. they get a huge turnout, and the town that they have it in is really cool as well. and theres definitely a lot of nice cars in that part of the country. youd love it. lots of BBS.

The drive sucked.. It was shitty there.. but the drive home was 50x shittier ..

I would drive if i had two others to switch off with..

Just was cool to be there just not worth the drive to me.

Used to boring.. but when the town is 4 miles long and you can walk anywhere, driving 13hrs and stopping every 3 hrs to let everyone catch up is pointless. I'd rather relax or fly. Its not like i'm showing any of my cars.

Now if the Jetta has a snail on it before then I'll drive. That'd make it worthwhile.

Metrodubs treated us right last year. I know ive said this 5+ times but anyone in Edition719 that doesn't respect Baker has some serious problems. Jon Baker went out of his way to put the Edition719 club name right next to his personal car club, Metrodubs, on any item or word out of his mouth. Even went as far to having some metrodubs members wear Edition719 shirts for photoshoots to even up the clubs. Big props to Jon.

Jon i am setting up an edition719 thread over the next couple days with more wuste info (room and ride sharing, Times to head out from Springs ect.) if you could email me the times you have so we can meet up to head out together again this year that would be great.

OK, so how is the caravaning supposed to work when I have friends in VW union, MD, and e719? Can't we just squash the drama and have one big caravan? I know union is planning a caravan as well. I'm of the opinion that if we can't all just get along, saying fuck it and doing my own thing and seeing you there. I don't want to do that, but I would like to see this drama just go away.

People go there own ways and thats fine thats life. they are doing there thing and we are doing our thing, there shouldnt be any drama over that. People have there opinions and there is no pleasing everyone, thats just life. If you wanna join in on our caravan we would be more then happy to have you, if not thats fine too, we will see you at the show and all have fun.

We are meeting at the 2nd of June in Lakewood off 2nd and union at 6am and leaving by 7am. Bluewater Performance will also be caravaning with us.

Jon, I'll PM you back. Im out of the country and it doesnt look like I'll be back in time for this. I was hoping to be there and roll down with temp tags on a new ride, but it looks like I'll get back about 2 days AFTER Wuste. It sucks.

I really hope VWUnion and all the other groups in Colorado will manage to at least join together for a ride down to Vegas together. That was a great part of the trip last year.

Mike are you retarded? We meet in Springs at Walmart, then caravan to Denver ( since we dont live in Denver we have to drive there).

For the people that went last year, they will understand. From there we caravan to Vegas with Metrodubs. I wanna say last year was around 15-20 cars.

If vwunion wants to be a part of it, great. If not, oh well.

Once i get the time that MD is heading out I'll make a thread with details on when to meet at north Walmart.
