it may be more. and even if you swing a gig at camp cupcake (al udeid), its still tax free. im not sure the channels you have to go through to get the job. i do know that they have a really easy job. for example, we get the same driver from when they pick us up at billeting until they drop us of at the plane. normal time line for them would be:
pick up at billeting.
drive to ops squadron.
sit and wait while crew goes through mission planning/briefings (45 min)
drive to dfac, drop off crew
pick up crew on the other side of customs/immigrations
drop off at aircraft.
sounds easy, right? it is! and, one crew run like this usually takes up about 2 hours. rinse and repeat 4 more times, and thats your work day. i couldnt think of an easier way to make that kinda money. kinda making me want to look into the gig for myself.
