if the car is paid off, park it in the garage for a rainy day. keep comp insurance on it... $10-20/month max

you never know when you may need a good reliable, cheap on gas car. i held onto my honda for 6 years after i quit driving it daily, then BAM got a job in denver and had an instant cheap commuter.

Well I owe like $2500 on it, I have that and another car that I am selling. I daily my TDI so a cheap on gas car isnt really an issue, Im just selling it to get something to get around in winter and use the extra $ towards buying a house.
