Hey guys, i was planning on going down to Pueblo to do some quarter mile runs next friday.  so, lets turn this into a group event!  

Gates open at 4:30, racing starts around 6.  racing goes til around midnight.

$4 to get in the gates, $20 to race. 

If you run faster than a 12.99 (none of us), you will need a helmet.

i havent run at pueblo before, but i know at bandimere, you need to wear long pants.

Directions:
South on I-25 to Pueblo, Colorado
Exit 101, West Highway 50 Turn right
Turn Left on Pueblo Boulevard
Turn Right into Pueblo Motorsports Park

dude.... if the Dasher with the N/A 2L 8v (no mods) did 17 flat, I have like 500-700 lbs on you, assuming you get traction you should be well into the 16s

1.  Using the work 'break' is bad luck.
2.  You should be in the low 16s, maybe 15s if you get a good launch. 

Now, the Fox, as it is right now, WOULD be over 20 sec.  But she would be an awesome bracket racer.  Never have to worry about wheel spin or breaking out...

LOLZZZZZ,,,, they said if you run faster than the 13.99 your first run or any run they re-inspect your car and make sure you have a helmet or they take your car off the track...

I called them last week and they said 12.99.

durrr... yes, breaking 13s... I know better than to go off the top of my head, thats why I have a book:
12.99 : Helmet
Non-OEM Forced Induction : Fire Jacket
11.49 : Roll Bar (may have changed)
10.99 or 135mph : Roll Cage (may have changed)

hmmm, tech inspections should follow the NHRA handbook:
(2008, there have been a few updates since then)

starting at page 31 (certain requirements are based on Class/speed/ET/modifications, i.e. helmet & rollbar)  if your serious about racing, buy an updated book... but typically if your slower than 135mph @ 1/4 mile, not much has changed

trying to remember what all they would tech.... first they ask you how fast your going to go... if in doubt, say slower than 13s.  Just don't piss them off by telling them slower and pull a 9s run, they will eject you.
Safety equipment (i.e. Seatbelts, etc), Coolant overflow, no visible leaks, battery hold down (oem or metal bracket, no rubber tie-downs), condition of tires/wheels (no spare tires for "skinnies"), check trunk for hidden goodies like "NOS"
