we will be having an un-official camp out the night before

Start Time:
August 21st 2010, at 5pm (until show opening)

Cost:
$10/car (regardless of how many people)

Nope, just that they wanted to talk to owners to see what they wanted. I suppose it could be worded as "Pricing on request."

more specifics about the camping

Saturday the 21st at Pikes Peak International Raceway
-camping in North Parking Lot
-$10 Per car (no limit on people)
-starting at 5pm, after the event PPIR is hosting
-gate is closed at sundown (managed by on site security)
-bring food and drink (no potable water on site)
PPIR is hosting the Drift Cup that day until 5pm, so you can watch that race event and then stay for the camping/show the next day... make it a 2-day trip!

OK, we had a quick "text message" discussion... and unless otherwise overridden, here is the scoop

Since this is the first year camping at PPIR: we don't have a permission for any kind of open fire, unknown potential for a wild fire in the field, etc.... sorry, we have to say no to the fire-pit

We will allow propane grills and such

Since we didn't think about getting approval above ground fire-pits... we will attempt to get clearance to use them next year
