Part of my reasoning using 205/55r14 tires was that they would last much longer on an 1800lb car with 120hp than say, a Mk3 w/180hp and 2800lbs.  Part of how long tires and brakes last has to do with the drivers and how they treat the car, too. 

With the min treadwear rating, I'll have to buy some others, and just use these for fun shit around the shop or sell.  =)

The Race rabbit is in the shop.  At least for a little while.  Justin got the motor and trans pulled this afternoon, and we might pull some interior out tomorrow quick, depending on the day/weather etc.  Keeping it a roller so we can roll it out if I need the space.

The plan is to go ahead and beef up the front cross member, then do the same to my rabbit. Any help or input with that is welcome.

- one might be the one out of that rabbit race car you parted, the guy who i bought it from said they cut the car out to get the cage out

Yep - I actually do need a cage for it.  Need to read the rules again to be sure, but I am sure anything that would be OK for SCCA track would be fine for Lemons.

Interior is stripped - along with anything else thats fairly extraneous.  Thanks to Justins hard work, we are ready to powerwash the heck out of it, and start building!
