As usual, concerning EFI, Chris is spot on.  It really isn't worth it to stick with carbs unless you really want to for some other reason, or if there are other constraints (old harleys are harder to convert than old Chevy's for a number of reasons).
I don't want to Mess with EFI, when carbs are so damn easy.... truck gets 6mpg and EFI wont help the old 5.7l pushrod V8  matted to a 3speed auto and with 3.73 posi rear end when doing more than  55mph. Only way to get better MPG is to swap the tranny to a 4spdOD  either a 700r4 or 4l60 or 4L60-e (tho that one requires a throttle poistion sensor and a PCM to run the tranny) and even then i'd stil be looking at 12-15mpg.

so if those are the 15x9.5's, what are the other two?

I can only assume it is a staggered setup with that Porsche looking bolt pattern

Yep - the others are actually about 15x8.5-9", but with much different offset.  I might be able to juggle shells to get 15x7, but not sure if the back & front-spacing would be right.  I'll pull in the fox and bolt up the centers to measure what will fit and what I need to buy for it.  These shells are stupid light - for racing use, so not sure how long they'll last on the street.  We'll see.

Barry, you aren't kidding.  I've got the rafters of the garage PACKED with bagged and labeled clothes and toys to cover til she's almost 5yrs old!

I can't wait until she's big enough for a Recaro kids seat.  Can not wait!

Yeah, I laughed at Jimmy's pic.  That does seem more like me, doesn't it?

Really, not much.  We've got clothes, toys, etc. coming out our ears.  We registered at Target for some stuff, just so some people could buy stuff (they were insisting).  I actually want to get another Graco seat base, so we can transfer the seat from car to car and leave the bases there.  Don't anyone feel like you need to get us anything though, please.

Those Super Vee motors are awesome.  ITB, Mechanical injection, dry sumped, crazy big cams with alfa lifter buckets and shim under bucket adjustement, power range was usually about 6500-9000rpm or something like that.  Very cool engines.  I used to want to find a throttle body setup and fab some curved runners (the straight ones would go right through the firewall) and use an engine like that in my old 76 Rabbit project years ago.

Stripped down the accessories off the G60 engine on Fri.  Just a longblock - one intake port seemed a bit corrossion-ey.  Eh.  Time to tear it down.
