Not sure if I have the dough for it this year. Each time I go I seem to drop over $50 before I even get inside. ::) If I go more than likely I'll be a spectator.

Eh, Prolly just hang out in the swap area, or drive up to spectate.  The Audi ain't worth showin.  Unless I can get it a bit lower by then, maybe.  Maybe.

Panel is sold (verbal commitment) to someone you know....

Oh yeah. Got the car back from Gabe the other night.  Yesterday I installed the 1st gear switch (works pretty slick I might add).  Today I scouted out bandimere and got a partial low down (never been there before).  Also put the car on a diet today.  Lost 179lbs.  Take that "Biggest Loser".  :canadian:

Now if I would just be able to perfect my launching and shifting (ability/timing)...

It'd be cool to have a nice 719 showing and then perhaps (dare I say) either do a drive and/or grab some grub afterwards with some metrodubs cats?!?  ::)

98lbs is basically factory stuff.  All 4 sections of the back seat, the floor mats, and the trunk false floor.  The spare tire was already out, so I didn't weigh that, and I'm not sure what it is off hand (I'd guess another 50lbs, but I'll weigh that fo sho at a later date)

The other weight was my amp, subs/box, and other misc. stuff not normal in other cars.

The nice thing is.  Everything I took out can easily be put back in in about 5 or 10 minutes... :t-up:

I'll definately have to hit you up on that offer greg.  AND....I think it's safe to say I've never met you before (surprisingly), so I'll go ahead and check that block on the to do list..

Dave, if I wanted to make a race car, I'd consider that, but I like all those little options in my dd...

Very nice crowd.  Lots of people.  Great show, good times racing... Nice to see some old faces show up, and meet a bunch of new ones.

This was the 2nd time ever on an actual strip.  1st time was last year in alabama on a redneck 1/8th mile.  Wasn't sure how I was gonna do here at altitude and a legit crowd of people watching.  I was hoping for 14s and after ironing out "driver" issues I was down there.  Best run was 14.572 @ 96.29mph.  Still rockin the ko4 and would like to see the lower half of the 14s before going bt.

The sucky part of the day was when I broke out on my first run in the eliminations.  I dialed in a 14.7 and ran a 14.699.

Now here are the pics.

not sure why the right side is cut off of all the pictures. I'm sure if I shrunk them down it'd fix it, but I'm too lazy for that...
