By the way... I just saw the zebra cabrio today... I didn't realize it was a mk3. Fucking made me pretty sad. That damn thing looks beat. But then again I saw it at a light and then he tried to race a beamer down gog. Sounds like its a 2.0 Turbo as I heard a blow off when he shifted. Either way, that is uglier than this craigslist car.

It is a 2.0 turbo. He ran a beat used BBM charger for a little while, then put together a turbo kit. He's working on the "Aesthetics" but I think he wants to keep it striped. I think he just plans to take care of some of the broken bits. Honestly, knowing the owner, I don't think I could imagine him in a "normal" looking car. Nice enough, east coast, guy that likes to play with the Cabby.

Yeap the ball game is all about personal preference. Id have to listen to his story again, but i believe the paint job was done as a memorial of his uncle. Something his uncle wanted to do to a car. I dont mind the paint just hate the convertible side of it. I cant seem to adapt enough to appreciate a cabby. Just not a fan.

But i will say i want RS's on the mk3 regardless of how played out they are

I like Victors car, its different and he actually comes to GTGs, goes to fdrives to denver and works on cars. He has done all the work on his own even the paint. That car gets attention everywhere!! He just needs some polished porsche wheels

Lol. It's all good. And cabby mk3's take a lot of work to get them out of their girlish ways, but a blown vr cabby with a clean exterior is hard to pass up. Especially jazz blue or cinnabar.
