We'll see - I doubt either one will pan out, but fingers crossed.

That Audi looks like the same type that swank had a few years ago. And that dasher is the same brown your old one was. Lol  where are they located?

Audi is actually different than Swanks - his was older and cooler.  That one uses a standard 4cyl (so swaps are easy) and is in the Pacific NW.

The Dasher is actually more of a Reddish hue, and is in Kansas.  Rust is my only concern on that one.  Well, both, really.  But the Audi is cooler, and its gas already, so a 1.8 or 2.0 8V swap would drop in with almost no work.  The 5spd I have would fit to, with a little massaging.

Gonna be a Papa so I am gonna need 4 drs!

Well shoot - white one sold today for less than $1000.

I don't wanna roll my own - if I was gonna put that much work into a crew cab, I'd make one from a vanagon.

Cool, you are gonna be a papa?  Congrats!  That Dasher is cool... or you could go back to a quantum or maybe even a b3 wagon...

If I sell my panel van, I would consider a 411 or 412 wagon, but I am looking for a water-pumper for now.  Looking for something a bit different, really.

OH man... I bought a squareback once, it was while I lived in Santa Cruz.  I was under the impression you couldn't live in Santa Cruz without an air-cooled dub.

A Squareback is probably the only aircooled dub I would ever get.  That thing looks sexy.

Here's a notchback.  This one isn't as pimp as it could be.  But still cool

Ive been in Mikes notch before.  Notch's are cool, but I still think the square back is cooler.

Nope - Fox GTi's were 2dr, and most were Silver, if not all.  Same CHassis and basic style, though.

I tripped over a Rabbit Project this morning while bringing the Vanagon Syncro home.  1981 and a special edition.  Ed - can you guess what it is?  I thought it was a GTI from a distance.  Worst part with a quick lookover is the damage to the left rear qtr.  Might learn bodywork...  We'll see.

Just a people hauler-  I'll modify the interior a bit later on.  PLan is to find a Subie 2.5 and throw it in there.  Maybe get another Vanagon (2wd) later and put a WRX in it.

Oh - and notchbacks aren't rare.  NSU's are rare.  Had 2 of'em.

Yep.  Silver with Blue interior.  Little rough around the edges, though.

Heh - no, but the wiring is a little sketchy and the left C-pillar has some damage.  Interior really isn't bad.

I've got a gallon of base/clear silbergrau metalic pearl (the 08-through current BMW light silver) sitting on a shelf.  Its just the base-coat, you'll need the clear and reducers...but its available.
