;D
Ain't that the truth!

Got the headliner recovered and installed. I still need to do the sunroof, cover the c-pillar trim pieces and install, and trim the a-pillar covers around the dash and install them. I'll try to remember to take some pictures of what I have done so far today when I'm out replacing the cracked power steering reservoir.  :censored:

Things left to do to finish the build:
* Install kneebar
* Trim front door cards around the dash/kneebar and install
* Install speakers in front door cards
* Find a plan B for the tach. I found out that B3 and B4 clusters have absolutely nothing in common, especially the tachometer. The B4 tach decided to explode into a million pieces when I was discovering this. So instead of it not really working (It would read 1-7k RPM when the engine was doing 700-2k rpm and bounce around the entire time) it doesn't work at all now. I could go back to the B3 cluster, but I'd loose the MFA and I'd have to convert back to a speedo cable. I like not having to run an unobtanium cable. I've seen some slim aftermarket tachs that I should be able to fit into the stock location, so I'm going to go that route first.
* Hook up the ABS light and CAN bus communications .
* Get the ABS and cruise control reading the speed sensor.

I recently picked up some parts for (hopefully) near future projects. I have the seat heats I still need to retrofit into the Recaros. I picked up a fog light harness out of a Corrado (matches the passat switches) for whenever I get  some mk2 fogs. I have some projector lenses out of a NB that I plan on retro fitting into some crystal round housings whenever I get a chance to pick those up. One of the things I'm really excited about is I was able to snag a power window harness with switches off of a Jetta Carat that showed up at the junkyard. I didn't want to take the risk of the window regulators since most of the windows were taped up. Now I just need some time.  ;D

Head liner is done! Got all of the trim pieces in too. I just have to clean up a couple of grease spots that were picked up in the garage and figure out what I'm going to do to the color of the sunroof controls and visors. The really cool thing is that the material I used is an almost identical match to the stuff on the door cards and seats.  ;D My OEM+ daily is coming along nicely now.
