Yeah, you and me both.   If I had the cash, I would buy a double cab Syncro in a heartbeat. There was an SVX powered one that went for $14k on samba 6 mo ago.  Was perfect - exactly what i wanted.  Couldn't swing the cash.

You could do the swap yourself easily enough and CO is the land of Subies! Even a good JDM one is only $450.

I can easily buy a complete car for $1000-1200 and then part the unused stuff for $800-1000.  But not for flipping.  For a keeper, hell yes.

I've always wanted to chop one down and make a trailer out of it. So, I could pull all my goodies to show's.

I'll post my sketches when I get home from the desert, that's if I remember.

Why chop it down?  Rip out the seats, leave the engine in it and you have an enclosed trailer you can drive.  Heh.  Like my Panel Van, really.
