Hey gang just got an 09 VW Sportwagen 2.5 / Tiptronic and want to add a few upgrades to it chip/exhaust don't need much just want to know what you recommend for an extra 15-30HP including a shop...I had one bookmarked but now I can't find it thanks in advance.

I can tell by the candor I'm ancient (42) around here but I will try to keep up.

Would still love to hear recommendation s on who is really good at chipping and (light) modifying these late model Dubs.

Ok! lol so..New beetle intake manifold swap...Neuspee d intake, and possbily Revo or Unitronic software.. check out jettamkv.com (once again) they have a lot of 2.5's on there...

Hhahaha and that is Chris... Either in his MKV Jetta or his MK2 Jetta lol

as far as chips I'd say bluewater performance out of denver (don't quote on this) Im pretty sure has cert for chipping... May be wrong?

Bluewater only does C2... there are plenty of diff options

so intake will help more than exhaust or a little of both?

I don't tinker with cars too much I like to pay a pro costs more but then I have someone to blame when the fuck it up

Intake adds a good amount from what i have heard on the 2.5s but intake and exhaust would almost be necessary for the chip, most stage 1s almost require atleast an intake and DP but yeah... Both together would be great, and then a chip tune on top of that would be tits...

Go talk to Gabe at Bluewater, you'll be hard pressed to find someone in Colorado Springs that's worth your time. C2 is probably one of the best chip burners out there. You can pick up one of the BSH intakes while you're at Bluewater too. Unless you do cams and a header an exhaust isn't going to net you much more than a nice note to your engine. If you want to get around or over 200hp you'll need to get a turbo kit at this point unless you want to be on the bleeding edge of development for the 2.5.
