It shouldn't be too hard to do. While you're in there take a look at your cam tensioners and make sure the plastic guides on them are still intact. If the car has never had the chains done then they've probably disintegrated. If you haven't picked up a Bentley for your car yet do it now. You'll need torque specs and probably a tightening pattern for installing the cams. Be sure to set your engine to TDC before you start. To get access to the cams you'll need to pull the upper intake manifold, valve cover and side cover. There's a chain tensioner on the side cover you'll have to take out (looks like a big bolt) and just about everything on that side of the motor bolts to it. A cam lock tool helps keep the cams timed while you disassemble and reassemble the cam chains. You can get by without it, but I wouldn't for your first time. I wouldn't attempt to do this if I were you until you had the Bentley, cam lock tool, and at least the money available to do timing chains and tensioners just in case they're bad.
