Fuck My Life! I got caught doing 115 thursday night northbound on i-25 just short of the glenneagle exit. So I dont have an Audi anymore guys. I dont know what I'm getting next but its not going to be anything spectaular. I am hoping I will be able to stop by and chat sometime though. Had fun at the meets and shit. Anything over 100mph is an automatic lose of license usually. I treat that as the magic number not to break..., unless you're crossing Kansas and somebody in a firebird ta blows past you doing a buck twenty. Then you just put a couple miles between you, match your speed to his and cruise.

Last time I heard if its a highway speed and its exceeded by 50% the city has the right to crush the car as shown in higby vs. Maldando. So if you were going to get caught over 100 your should have stopped at 112.5mph...

yeah man the car is being sold now its not being impunded crused or anything I just am going to get another car for one because of insurance teo the car is a pain in the ass and has problems and three I want something different for now that I wont mod so I can save for my next car that I buy when I have some points back. I have court and I'm sure I will get like some dumbass "Don't Speed" masterdrive class taught by some prick cop. Yeah but I figure might as well get rid of it for a POS so I can make my next car better cause I know if I keep this one, I will continuously drop money into it eventhough I want to save if fort the next car.

Been there, done that. Got the antelope antlers (partially ground from the animal being skipped across the pavement) to prove that that's still not too great an idea. Best bet is to save it for the track.

Those are the same people that bitch and complain for getting tickets while attempting to street race going up and down academy on a friday or sat night...when there is literally 1 cop car every freaking block....

you should get a car that's a lot less complicated that necessitates an aftermarket Cold Air intake to function properly.

so what kind of ticket you get?

Couple years ago I got pulled over doing 110 on powers near fountain (55 zone) by the county sheriff and his deputy.  He started off by thanking me for pulling over then gave 12pt speeding and 8pt careless, instead of wreckless and impounding the car w/ a night in jail (which any state has the right to do when it's 40mph over the speed limit).  Talked with a lawyer.  Paid $75 in court costs and $100 fine in exchange for speeding being dropped completely and 8pt careless dropped to 4pt careless.  Insurance didn't go up a cent.

Yep     It was about 1:30am (pitch black w/ no moon).  I almost didn't stop, but something said to.   Just before leaving he ask "ya know, me and my deputy were just wondering.  What goes through your head when you pass a cop going 110 in a 55"  I replied with "uh..well, I'll be honest.  I didn't even see you".  He said "well, you might want to slow down."  They both walked away laughing.

honestly, if I were a cop and I came across that very situation (nobody on the road at 1:30 AM in a safe environmen) I would either let them go or severely mark down the ticket. You could be doing that on Academy at 10pm on Sat night, but you were smart and safe. Dicks.
